A Day of Wine Tourism in the Douro

Summer in the Douro means long days, stunning landscapes and, of course, great wine. At Casa de Santa Eufémia, wine tourism is more than a visit — it's an immersion in our history and tradition. Our visitors have the opportunity to walk through the vineyards planted on schist terraces, discover the indigenous grape varieties of the Douro and understand the manual work that defines our viticulture. The visit culminates in the cellar, where we explain the winemaking process that has set us apart since 1864. The wine tasting is, naturally, the highlight. Led by winemaker Lúcia Carvalho, the tasting includes a selection of our Ports and DOC Douro wines, accompanied by regional products.
